* Flying foxes have long, sharp, curved claws on their toes which allow them to hang effortlessly upside-down in trees.

* Malayan flying foxes do not have the ability to echolocate but can use their sharp vision to locate prey.

What’s the difference between flying foxes & bats?
All flying foxes are bats but not all bats are flying foxes! Bats can be divided into 2 groups based on echolocation – microbats and megabats. They can also be divided based on genetics into yinptero-chiroptera and yango-chiroptera
