World Health Day is April 7th – this year celebrating its 75th anniversary. More info – World Health Org.
World Art Day is April 15th – a celebration to promote the development, diffusion and enjoyment of art. More info here – World Art Day
World Heritage Day is April 18th – the day highlights the importance of and risks to our outstanding sites of World Heritage. Many posts – see for example World Heritage
World Fish Migration Day is April 21st – a theme day connecting people, fish and rivers – is celebrated every 2 years, so the next will be 2024. More information can be found here
Earth Day is April is 22nd – “an annual event on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First held on April 22, 1970, it now includes a wide range of events coordinated globally by EARTHDAY.ORG including 1 billion people in more than 193 countries.” More details here – Earth Day – and I will post about that separately too.
Arbor Day – April 26th or 28th – a day of observance in which individuals and groups are encouraged to plant trees. Though usually observed in the spring, the date varies, depending on climate and suitable planting season. More info – Arbor Day Foundation
